Choosing your service

Transfer or hourly chauffeur: which service should you choose?

Travelling from the airport to your hotel? A transfer is all you need. Several appointments across Paris, with time between stops? An hourly booking keeps a chauffeur and vehicle at your disposal for the agreed duration.

  • A transfer

You book a specific journey. The service ends at the agreed drop-off.

  • Hourly chauffeur hire

You book a period of time. Your chauffeur remains available between stops; waiting counts towards that time.

  • An outward and return transfer

Two transfers may be enough if you do not need the chauffeur in between.

Three examples to help you choose

  1. Airport, hotel or station

Choose a transfer if you need to reach an address without keeping the vehicle afterwards. Mention any planned stops when requesting your quote.

  2. Multiple appointments

A meeting, lunch, then another address: an hourly booking covers both the journeys and the time between them.

  3. Dinner or an evening out

Fixed times and no journeys in between? Consider two transfers. Need the chauffeur to remain available? Book by the hour until an agreed finishing time.

Practical questions

Does waiting during a meeting count towards my booking?

Yes. With hourly hire, your booked time continues during appointments, even while the vehicle is stationary.

Is mileage unlimited?

No. At Benzo, a three-hour booking includes 60 km. Your quote sets out the terms and charges for additional mileage.

Can I extend my booking?

You can request an extension. It is subject to availability, and the additional price must be confirmed before you agree.
